Sáandlaanaay Kimberly Fulton Orozco is an interdisciplinary artist rooted in Mexican, Kaigani Haida, and Scottish ancestry. She is a Kaigani Haida Raven from the Yakhw' Jaanaas clan and a citizen of the Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska. She holds an MFA in Studio Arts from the Institute of American Indian Arts and a BFA in Drawing, Painting & Printmaking from Georgia State University, and has trained extensively in Northwest Coast art forms, including a carving apprenticeship with Haida carver Reg Davidson and formline design study with Tlingit and Tsimshian artists at the Sealaska Heritage Institute.

Fulton Orozco transforms objects of memory into statements of cultural endurance and self-determination, examining assimilation, belonging, and disconnection while imagining futures grounded in joy and generational continuity. Her practice moves fluidly between painting, printmaking, and installation. She is a designer for the United States Mint's Artistic Infusion Program.

Her work has been exhibited at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts in Norwich, England; the Anchorage Museum; the Institute of Contemporary Art Santa Fe; and as part of the U.S. Pavilion program at the 2024 Venice Biennale. She has held solo exhibitions at Fazakas Gallery, Vancouver (2023), One Grand Gallery, Portland (2025), and Open Source Gallery, Brooklyn (2026), and her work is held in the permanent collections of the Burnaby Art Gallery, the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, and the Gochman Family Collection. She is a 2025 Native Arts & Culture LIFT Grant Awardee and completed the Early Career Artist Residency in Visual Arts at the Banff Centre the same year.
